High Desert Harmony's festive season of singing culminated in our annual holiday show, “High Desert Holidays,” on Dec. 15, 2019 at Harrah’s Sammy’s Showroom in downtown Reno. What a fabulous venue this was, and we were thrilled to have a near-capacity crowd on hand to enjoy holiday favorites sung by HDH and several quartets, as well as a very special performance by the young ladies of Reed High School's Visions Ensemble. For the second year, HDH welcomed a Holiday Guest Chorus to join us on stage for three holiday classics. Thirty enthusiastic and talented ladies from the community rehearsed with us for six weeks prior to the show to get a taste of the fun and excitement of barbershop music. It was wonderful singing with and getting to know these lovely ladies, and we are looking forward to several of them returning in January to learn more about High Desert Harmony Chorus.
